poor preity

have you heard this? Jaipal reddy, Minister for Information and Broadcasting called preity Zinta, Preetha Jindha......... this is so sad it's not even funny. And that too onstage at the closing ceremoney for the IIFIs. And he apologised saying he's not a movie buff, but surely Mr Minister, when are Minister for Information and Broadcasting you should at least know the name of the celeb you have invited to give out prizes at the IIFIs.

Heard a name miscalled lately? Ask lawyers/investigators/film-makers. It's a sure way of striking an instant response.

That's human nature, and human nature it will be 22 years from now.

What should change, hopefully, is the identity fixations that assume an authority far greater than is good for anybody.

Question: are film subtitles mostly drafted for censors?

Or have you no time for any ruminations of the 'soft' market kind.

We know, we know, Veer Zara got four times the revenues at the Indian box office than that international effort Black, which itself did better than that intellectual effort Shabd, so that's many more blocks blown to bits the grand 'old forte' way.

is it IIFI or IFFI (2 Is 2 Fs ??)
iFFi is most symmetry
like the simple beauty of a flower blossoming open on a dewy morn as the poet says
