One year in Bombay

It's been a year sicne I shifted to Bombay. A year in my new job. This city, for all its problems, has given me a lot of firsts; there are things I've been able to do here that I haven't been able to do anywhere else. Which is exciting.
A blog on my one year in this city, soon.

Firsts in Bombay; well, as far as races go, I remember a "last" -- got this prize for a marathon, was awarded Anne French leg hair remover and I got to make a speech in the college woods on the honour. For many other Firsts, would have to go back to Circular Road, which continues to be mispronounced by all and sundry (like a blurry "Circular House"), and where we found out a lotta things. Like the idea is not to go round n round mindlessly, but to discuss stuff freely, exercise the grey stuff, bang one's head about to the music, and figure all sorts of crazy stuff out... down to the secrets of how to keep it simple silly.

Saw something on trees of Delhi in Outlook magazine, and I think I understand why anyone should miss the beauty of Delhi. There was a beautiful picture of trees in Lodhi gardens. It is really very very nice.
